Finally got somewhere with my mod sequencing...

Hi - got some good results out of the mod sequencer at last, my tip: when you hit the randomize button set the scale at 200% again if you want deep biting modulations. This is the kind of bass I have been trying to make and kind of got it on the Radias today after making a DIY notch filter:

Usually when writing a tune I will layer a bass like that with a dedicated sub patch on a different channel on my desk. The top layer (in the yousend it link) is hi-passed and the sub will be lo-passed. They can then be tweaked to sit together nicely in the mix. And then there's a lot of eq work to keep the bass and beats a bit more separate than they are now (sidechaining for example).
