another chord trigger question

... I am still in search for a device other than Korg(?) to do this. I don't understand why a manufacturer can't implement something that is already on the M3 (too big, not portable) or nanopad! Or, do I not know of the one that can do this yet.

Here is another related question.
I saw a you tube version (below) of an omnichord emulation being performed with a padkontrol.

So here is my question ...
several videos show the padkontrol playing a chord from a one button/pad trigger.
All notes are strummed within any given chord combination. Unless I am not understanding this properly, this pad is triggering several notes at once (within the pad) and the only difference is that you are strumming all the notes as opposed to having notes within a chord play simultaneously.

Then, by my own observation (or logic?), why can't all notes saved within that pad be played together rather than "strummed" (several notes played very fast in succession ???
