Did the release date get moved up?
their are a few stores that have February ship dates.
can someone confirm this?

I don't think there's any change. I think in some cases when a product isn't out yet, there may be an automated guess at availability for an item that is "out of stock", when it's never been in stock.

Is it very possible of a 61-key availability before the other models?

i originally preordered the kronos 88, but i changed it to the kronos 61 because i have the Motif XS8 that i'm keeping til death do we part.

there is no change. You can't believe everything you read on those store sites.

Go by what Korg says.

I sold my XS7 last week, it is a great board.

However, I expect the Kronos to greatly outperform all the current romplers, including the XS.

With that, I will have turned over my entire rig by April.

ZZounds is part of AMS. No wonder their dates are about the same and WAY wrong.

I am pretty sure Dan Phillips has mentioned April as the projected delivery date. I would guess he would know more than the stores.

In the US, SW has consistently said , the past 2 weeks, the estimated delivery date is May 4 in the US.

I would go by that since they should know.

Confirmed.. I heard the same date from my SW rep. May 4th

They aren't quite in production yet! They may well become available in Japan a few weeks before they are elsewhere, due to transportation time - but it doesn't take two months to get across the ocean (anymore - thank goodness!).
