how do I do if I want to for example have my all favorite sounds, easy to reach in for example [A] favorite
so that i got 8 sounds that I can switch to without having to turn the big wheel
and stuff,,, hope you guys understand my question..

I don't think it is possible. If it is I would love to hear how.

because when I have to change the sound from one sound to another fast, it's almost impossible + I use 2 synths at the same time so it would be good to have the sounds organized

Hello ,

You can re-organise your patches easily using the R3 sound Editor.
Open a NEW program list , Click Midi , then recieve all data (you will of course need to have your R3 plugged in to a computer via a USB cable) , move them around and then Click Write all data . Done

I have watched the video released by KORG about how to organize favorite sounds in Performance Bank D. This appears quite promising and easy in the video, but in practical, there is a slight break between the sounds. In live gig situation this is annoying.

I have discovered now a simple method to switch between sounds. This is another easy way to select sounds easily during a stage performance in a split second gap. This method is OK for most of the live gig situations where you have to switch from one sound to another especially when there is only one keyboard available. The procedure is as below:

1. Create a new Combination give it a meaningful name like - the name of the song or group of songs you are going to use it with. For example- I have given the name" DABANG 2 " to one of such combis.

2. Assign the desired instruments or programs to all the eight channels (Timbres) visible on the first page. (Well; you can do that for the next 8 timbres also but they will cause dropouts due to polyphony problems)

3. Change the MIDI channel of all the first eight timbres/programs to 1

4. I recommend that you route the effects of all the programs in the same way so that there will be smooth transition of sounds

5. Save the Combination, Now you are ready. Prepare as many such combinations you like and save them in Bank D.

6. During the live gig, open a combi of your choice, Press menu command and select “ Exclusive Solo “ (this is very important) or you can use the shortcut = enter+1 in the numeric key.

7. touch the “solo” button of one of the timbers and play the sound. When you want to change the sound, simply touch the “solo” button of the desired timbre. You are done

I am using my M50 on stage performances by this method without any trouble. So, HAPPY GIGGING.

The Radias and R3 don't have combis.
However, your technique I believe is partly possible on the Radias (when used with its own original Radias-KB keyboard).
