Power Supply Help

As the keyboard came from America (and came with a different plug) I am using a Laptop plug into the M50 adaptor.

The plug says 250V on it and the M50 adaptor says "Input:100 - 240."

Will this cause any problems?

Do you just mean an IEC 'kettle' lead, or 'figure-of-eight' or 'cloverleaf' lead?

If so, that's just the maximum rating of voltage that the lead is designed for, and is probably fused for. It doesn't mean that you're delivering 250 volts to your power supply pack.

As long as your national power network is delivering around 230 or 110 volts to the plug/socket, that should be absolutely fine.

Thanks.

I've finally got my keyboard back. (Korg shipped over a free motherboard; although it still took 4 months for me to finally have a working keyboard back.)

I'm a bit paranoid about it dying again!
