PadKontrol, Pad Behaviour when changing scenes

If I were to press and hold a pad and change scene, whilst continuing to hold the pad. Will the the controller continue to output the value and parameters of the pad pressed and held during scene changes?
I used to have an MPC 2500 which had this function, whilst changing between banks A to D. This function made the MPC terrific for playing Monophonic Synths. When I purchased an MPD 24, I was dissapionted and felt misslead that it did not have the feel, functions nor pad behavior of my MPC which I now regret selling.
