Automation on the Pa2X

Hello fellow Korgers, I just realised that it is possible to do automation on the Pa2X (found it in a turkish set's styles)..

like changing PAN, Cutoff and things like that, automatically (as if it is pre-programmed)

I don't know how this is done, but it's very useful, can anyone help us on how to do this?

Thanks :D

yeah it's possible. Whatever setting you set to expression, pan..etc in style record mode, it gets saved with the style elements. It's a lot faster if you choose to do the programming in External sequencers.

Assyrianpianist thanks for the reply,

but I don't see any pan or cutoff parameters whilst in style record mode, only in the mixer in perform mode... :/

I might be wrong, or not getting what you explained

Thanks a lot anyway :)

yeah, you won't see a knob for every programmable parameter in style record mode, but you can insert the number that refers to a particular CC# and insert your automation that way. (one way of doing this) . Say you want to automate expression. First you have to set your CC# to 11, and then automate it to your liking. If still unclear, pm me and i'll send you a midi file that shows what i'm talking about.

In my opinion it's easier to edit these parameters for example in Cubase.
