MIDI Sequencing with Kaossilator Pro

I'm trying to find something (outside of computer software) that I can program to change settings on my guitar effects unit in time, for live purposes. The unit has MIDI I/O/thru and can receive MIDI commands. I know that with programs like Cubase you can sequence all sorts of MIDI messages, have them play back to a tempo, loop, etc. For instance you can specify that on beat 1 set CC2 to 64 and on beat 2 set CC7 to 5, etc. The description of the KAOSSilator Pro is that it's a MIDI sequencer. Can it do this? Most synths can play programmable drum loops but I don't see any that say you can sequence program or control change loops.
Many thanks

The KOPro is not a MIDI sequencer at all. It is a ROM based sound engine synthesizer with four independant tempo-locked audio loopers.

It can be used to send MIDI note or CC messages from its pad, but it really does not 'sequence' (i.e. MIDI data recording) at all, only audio loop recording.

You can sync it to Logic or Protools via external clock, if only they just realized adding the capability to play the notes with a controller without having to mess with custom mappings.. that would be very nice and would say a lot about how Korg takes cares of it's customers cries for implementation that should have been there from day one.

Maybe you could buy an Akai MPD16 or something?
You can easily program the pads to make program changes on another unit.
It's a lot cheaper, even less then 100 euro's I think and it does what it has to.
