Rolang VA7, Roland G-70 Ver3, quad core dell lappi with 6gb mem, DAW = Reaper, Amplitube 2,3. Scarlett Fockesrite 18-6, Mackie 1604 mixer, Washburn status 1000 headless bass, Roland 2.1 Monitors, Sunheizer Mic & Monitor headphones, Korg Kronos 88.
Could it be that your mic/line in input levels are too high and your getting clipping?.
On a similar note I've been trying to record on to my laptop from my m50 by using the USB output of my RPM 3 studio monitors. Even with the input levels reduced I'm getting a lot of noise and echoey ring mod effects on the audacity recording (44khz). Has anyone had experience of similar issues when recording from USB?
