I saw this demo of the korg TR and the dude was edditing patches via a computer and uploading to the korg. However, since I bought my korg from someone, he didn't give me any software, so does anyone have a clue where I might find it?

Thanks,
Paul

The TR doesn't come with any editing software.
However, there are a few free and paid Triton editors about that support the LE & TR.

LeLibby is one, which is more of a librarian (patch bank rearrangement etc). SoundTower's software supports the Triton series. I think they make TriEdit Pro, as well as SoundDiver. I'm not an expert on their products as I do almost all of my editing from the front panel screen - its quite intuitive after you start using it for a few weeks.

When I switched over to a KARMA, I considered that the similar interface (shared by the Triton Rack, KARMA, TR, LE, X50, and microX) to be a plus point.

There's nothing that's not accessible from the keyboard itself, and the parameters are categorised into pages fairly logically. Occasionally I find myself trawling through MIDI Filter pages in a Combi looking for something as those pages aren't used very often...
Most important in a combi is the Program selection, mixer, PRM1, and IFX/MFX/BUS pages. Sometimes KeyZ or VelZ.
Program editing - it helps to start at the start and work through every page.
