I would like to set my Ipad on my Korg Tr76, but, sadly, it doesn't have it's own music stand. Are there any creative types out there who have solved this problem? .....weld a tube, clamp somehow, accessory, I'll be darned if I'm going to carry a music stand around.

If there's enough deck space you can lay the iPad down on the keyboard top.

In most cases this would result in your pad landing on the floor, but there's a no tape - no stand - no velcro solution, provided you can find the stuff.

Get some rubber-foam-over-netting shelf liner (comes in a 6 foot sheet for a buck from Dollar Tree). This material has completely replaced duct tape for a bunch of applications at gigs for me.

The more weight you put on it the less mobile it gets. Very handy for skittery stuff like pens, harmonicas, etc. on smooth surfaces. I use it on the keyboard top, and under clamshell type pedals on wood or stone floors where they'd skate otherwise. If you have a stand that your keys move on when you play with a little energy, this stuff will make it rock solid. I've used it between subs and high end speaker boxes - they might as well be glued together, no worries about people knocking 'em off.

Thanks for the concept.
I use that stuff to keep my foot pedals stable - it is wonderful stuff. However there's really no space - especially near the centre where the LCD is.
Maybe something welded to my keyboard stand is the best scenario.
