Okay, I'm not massively experienced with midi and the like, so I don't know if that's what's causing my problem, but anyways.
The mod wheel on my R3 seems to have capped itself to transmitting only data values of ~15-100 instead of the normal 0-127. What's more is that when I use my foot controller it uses the full range, but keeps snapping back to wherever the mod wheel is at! This happened before but disappeared with a factory reset, however this time it's not going away. This happened after I used my keyboard as a controller for Logic Pro 8, but I've used it before with no problems.
Please please please help me out! I'm going to be gigging again soon and I need help as soon as possible!

This sounds like an internal electronic problem, probably with the grounding of the modwheel.

Funny, but I've seen countless similar issues on the Triton series joystick (although that is a known problem, where the x axis (pitch bend) would stop responding partially or completely, and pressing the sustain (or sometimes any other) pedal would result in a full upwards pitch bend.
The problem there was with the wiring harness and some of the cables being pulled especially in colder temperatures.

Wouldn't be exactly the same on the R3 as there's no joystick, and the wiring should be fixed. However somewhere there would be a dry joint or something causing a floating ground or +voltage into the pot.
