Missing CX-3 Presets - ENJOY

I've had a couple Korg CX-3 organs and I miss some of the presets that were on it that didn't make it on to the Kronos.
Here's the settings for all of the Korg CX-3 presets.

Also, this was posted in another thread but is good to have handy:

Very nice, McHale. Now, it would be equally nice for some enterprising organist to convert these settings into actual Kronos/Oasys Programs!

Thanks, Mc! This is good information. I saved the HTML, imported it into Excel and am applying the Kronos Parameter Guide's formulas to convert these values for use in the Kronos.

Would you be willing to post that .xls when you're done with it?
Thanks...

Sure! The first parameter I went to translate (noise) wasn't in the spreadsheet, but I can just leave that out.

I was a bit surprised/disappointed, since Kronos includes CX-3 emulation, that it wasn't complete enough to include the CX-3 presets. I would have thought they could have easily included that at least as an optional load, i.e an EXs5 or whatever "extra" .PCG -- I wonder why they didn't?

Issues dealing with past endorsees or copyright? I'm only guessing.
The two patches I remembered from the CX-3 that I knew were missing were DS Ballz and Whyter Shades. Who knows...

BUMP
and here's the conversion info from the Parameter Guide:
Changes from the original CX-3
With the KRONOS CX‐3, Korg has taken the original, ground‐breaking CX‐3 model and made it even better. If you’d like to convert sounds from the original CX‐3, the following notes describe these changes in detail.
Noise Level range improved
The Noise Level parameter now offers more fine control over the most useful range of values. When converting sounds, multiply the original CX‐3 Noise Level by 10.
EX Mode enhanced
On the original CX‐3, there were four global settings for the EX Mode drawbar frequencies. The KRONOS CX‐3 offers four global presets, which match the factory defaults of the original CX‐3, and then also allows you to set different frequencies for each Program if desired.
The range of the EX drawbar pitches has also been extended to go all the way down to 16’, in semitone steps.
Finally, the KRONOS CX‐3 supports keyboard splits with full EX drawbars on both upper and lower sides of the split.
Split Transpose increased
You can now transpose both sides of the split up or down by up to two octaves, for more flexible zoning on larger keyboards (such as 73‐ and 88‐key instruments).
Expression parameters per-Program
The expression‐related parameters can be set separately for each Program.
Percussion for either lower or upper drawbars
The percussion can be assigned to either the lower or upper drawbars, instead of just the upper drawbars. This allows you to play a bass line with percussion, as in ELP’s “Tarkus.”
Percussion parameters changed to absolute values
Instead of relative offsets, you can directly set the values for Percussion Slow and Fast Decay, and Percussion Loud and Soft.
Vibrato Chorus custom mode added
In addition to the six traditional presets, you can create your own custom settings, which can then be modulated via AMS.
Rotary Speaker Mic Modeling
For consistency with the rest of the KRONOS, the value ranges of the mic modeling parameters have been changed slightly. On the original CX‐3, they were 0‐99; in the KRONOS, they are 0‐100.
Additionally, the parameter ranges of the Horn and Rotor Mic Distance parameters are reversed. To convert these parameters from the original CX‐3, use the following formula:
Mic Distance = 100‐(original CX‐3 mic distance)
Rotary Speaker Horn speeds improved
The maximum speed of the Horn has been increased to about twice that of the original CX‐3; the minimum speed is still the same. To convert settings from the original CX‐3, use the following formula:
Horn Speed = (original CX‐3 speed x 0.48484848) + 52
In other words, the KRONOS value range of 0…99 is equivalent to the original CX‐3 range of 52…100, with the new 0…51 all being faster than the original CX‐3.
Rotary Speaker Acceleration and Deceleration
The Rotary Speaker Acceleration/Deceleration parameters were named “Transit” on the original CX‐3. Their ranges are also reversed from the original CX‐3, in order to be consistent with the rest of the KRONOS system: 0=slow, and 100=fast.
Rotary Speaker Stop Phase added
You can now set the phase at which the Horn and Rotor will settle when the Rotary Speaker stops

I appreciated the info McHale. One thing, I found the ashby info to be helpful regarding the Leslie sim but could not make the overal tone work. When I brought down the EQ values in the AMP to the levels he suggested, even adding back at the "mixer" did not create the proper sound, IMO.

Two sounds that I am definitely going to transfer over are: AK Chestband, and BC Best Full. Thanks for the parameter list that will save me some time.

McHale, DG-keys
apologies for returning to an old page in this forum...CX-3 Presets....
Having just replaced I-A054: CX-3 Organ 888 SW1 with the Perfect Stangers .PCG sound posted by dg-keys.... Has anyone done any more with compiling a bank of sounds covering the original CX-3 settings (or even BII settings)?
I-A054: CX-3 Organ 888 SW1 - on my K73 the higher its played up the keyboard the more the Leslie sound annoys is as it turns into white noise. In a word of two syllables - AWFUL.
Just loaded DG-Keys Perfect St. Rangers sound - MAGIC.

I'm wondering if people have already converted the original CX3 presets.
Otherwise, I write it on the wish list to convert CX3 patches to the Kronos (and possibly Oasys if possible).
However, I cannot find the original CX3 preload PCG (if such PCG is existing or available). Does anybody know where to find it?
