I think this should be an easy thing to do...

I have ableton, and I have a Korg Radias. I also have my Radias hooked up to my computer via USB cable. How would I go about making it so I can use a midi file in ableton to run through my radias and then play it back out of ableton, while being able to tweak knobs and things and have that change the midi file.... I know this is one of the worst explanations ever, but im assuming this can be done easily... I have little to no experience with using a physical synthesizer with a DAW, so any help (in super easy to understand terms) would be much appreciated... i just want to have fun with this radias :'(, and my digital musical intellect is holding me back.

Connect the audio outputs of the radias to your sound card, drop the external instrument into the midi track with the file you want to play, select midi output to the radias and audio input to the sound card input the radias is connected to.
Play the midi clip.

In addition to that you can set up 4 tracks in the same way and control all 4 Timbres of the Radias separately, essentially giving you up to 4 synths that can be sequenced individually. Just assign each timbre you want separate to a MIDI channel and drop an external instrument in with that channel and audio specified. I use Ableton to sequence my Radias and EMX-1 and Ableton has made me love both pieces of gear more than I did when I was using them as standalone hardware.
