Fill in without end....
Hello, yesterday i had a strange feelling when i was playing and pressed fill-in button. The keyboard just kept on filling-in until i press a variation button.
This is not normal.
Could it be a problem with style?
Had someone felt this problem?
I just got this problem once.

Hi
did you accidently, double tap the fill button? If you did, it will keep looping.

Thanks Rikki! Nice to keep learning new things about your keyboards. Maybe I need to read the manual cover to cover ... again.

Yes - the double click on STYLE elements FILLs, INTROs and ENDINGs has been a feature since the i-series - I wish they had documented it. It is fantastic and you can almost get additional VARs on some STYLEs. I still love using it on the "Blues" style from the i3 which has 4-measure-FILLs.
Cheers

Re: Fill in without end....
Hi Rick,
it's a brilliant keyboard.
There is the odd thing that it can do , that isn't neccesarily mentioned in the manual.
Some users take it for granted that Intro 1 is the flashy intro with the pre-determined chord progression. Intro 2 , you play your own chords. Intro3 is a Count in.
If you actually do your own styles, you could have all 3 flashy intro's with chord progressions, or 3, where you play your own chord changes, it's all to do with the style settings.
Even fills can have up to 32 bars, so if you needed a 5th variation, you could use a fill or an intro , as long as you remember to tap twice, so it keeps looping.
Something eles owners are not always aware of, again if you do your own styles, you can actually have different time signatures for each of the style parts. So if you had a song that was 4/4, but also had some 2/4 bars, you could have one of the vari's as a 2/4, the rest as 4/4.
Sam ( assyrianpianist ) & myself, went thru a bit of a journey of discovery over a 2/3 year period, mainly to do with style section.. If you can be bothered going thru some of the old posts over on the PA800/Pa2x section, you might come across something that might be of interest.
