What's strange is I didn't feel it at all, yet my mother in CT's capital did.

that was my 2nd earthquake experience in NJ. The first one was two years ago - a 2.8 in Wilmington, DE, and i felt it all the way across the river. pretty cool! this is funny tho watching all my friends all geeked out over a little earthquake when they happen all over the world every day.

Quite the rumble in Ashburn, VA; I was in school at the time preping for the upcoming opening next week. It sounded very much like the "herd of elephants" we always accuse the kids of behaving like. Ironically my own kids missed the whole thing, being in a Nintendo DS coma.

"There was an earthquake, Daddy?"

and now, an earthquake and a hurricane in the same week! They just evacuated Atlantic County. Just hoping this isn't too extreme.
