Korg Multitrack Sequencer - can it be done any faster?

Post by BokoKorg2011 »

I was wandering if there is a quicker way to get to, let's say, song's position 300.0.0. when sequencer recording enabled.

The problem is that each time I finish recording Track and press STOP button, the sequencer automatticaly sends me to the beginning of the song (position 1.0.0.), so then I always have to keep pressing the NEXT button (>>) to get back to 300-th position ?!?

Thats very time-consuming. :?

Hello BoboKorg,

it wouldnt be a "KORG" if such a feature wouldnt be adjustable - ?!

Please refer via PDF and Search in your Manual (on PC / Adobe Reader version > 9.0) to the FEATURE:

"Locate Measure" (in the german manual described on page 201)

On the Top Screen of SEQUENZER - Manager it is located in the upper / left - Corner.

Set the CHECKBOX to "ON" and give a 300 in the Measure.

Now every Action in doing REWIND or FASTSFORWARD knobs will take you immediately to the numeric Measure given in "Locate".

Hope this works

RE: Problem solved!

Post by BokoKorg2011 »

Thanks for a quick and a very useful reply!

The solution is not perfect, but satisfying (namely, I was used to a procedure on my older synth, that after I finished recording a Track and pressed STOP button for the first time, the sequencer would stay at the current position and only after I pressed the STOP button for the second time, it would go back to the beginning of the song...)

Newertheless, THANK YOU for helping me! :D :D :D
