problem with my trinity i turn on and dont have sound

Hi to all the users of this old great machine call“s triniy


Well my problem is when i turn on my trinity sometimes have sound and sometimes dont, also before the trinity have the problem of the r stereo output fail, and i dont fixed yet and i was using the mono input coz is the most common when i go to practice, but now i dont have sound in any output . Any suggestion or solution of what might be?

Search back posts for "jack" and scan results for "fail" or "flaw"

The trin's outs are soldered to a board inside (i.e., not bolted to the case then wired to the board) and can pull lose through wear & tear over time especially if stressed by weight of cables or mistreatment or physical shock.

It's a known flaw and not a difficult fix for a competent tech.

Headphone jack's a possibility but should only be used as a short term solution.

Get this one to the shop.

Okay thanks a lot, i know some about electronics and i always fix my plug cables, so i think i can try to fix that... i go to check and i tell you if i i fix that.

I forgot one thing, also i dont have sound in the headphone out? the pre amp of my keyboard is dead?

The headphones are connected with the main outs as well. I have the same problem. The only reason I have not fixed mine, is cause I am using the ADAT digital out of the Trinity which is not affected by the outs problem.
