Hi to all.
I am a new owner of pa3x and I love it a lot.
I have a little question for asking about pa3x startup time.
My set is always on my pa3x and Every time I start my pa3x, it takes 4 mins! I dont use other sets, like my pa2x. The battery Is fully charged. I never turn off the pa3x. I'm always turning it in standby.
I have the 61 keys version and my set makes 250mb
Do you know why it takes so long to power on the machine? I read that it dont have to take more than 2 min
Bes regards

Hi Vex
Thanks for the tip
I found the menu

but I want to know, when I want to delete a multisample or add a new one, do I have to compress the samples again? or it will be automaticaly compressed?

Yes,you have to repeat compression procedure when importing new samples, but only the new ones will bee compressed

Oh, i understand now

thanks for your help Vex and Lika! I appreciate. So the loading time will be again for 4 minute if I load 512 mb of samples right?
By the way, do you have pa3x? If yes, what version? 76 or 61 keys? Because I find that the screen is not so sensible than 76 keys version. Sometime, I have to push 2 or 3 time until I could enter on a menu, or select a sound.

Load latest software for pa3x (1.11 ) if you didn't already ,and calibrate screen carefully. My touch screen works OK

I am back.
I try to compress all samples like you said (it takes all the nights, even more !) and It did'nt worked correctly

. It writes to me at the end :
error : cannot create form with id 859
error : cannot create form with id 1203
and my pa3x froze.
Do you know where I am going wrong? I have more than 7000 samples, is this ok or not?
When I restart my pa3x all the samples have not been compressed.

Yes,it should compress very long time (for the first time) ,mine set also was compressing all the night ,but with no errors...
Something is wrong, but I think you should contact Korg service support... That errors may have influence with slow pa3x boot time ???

I will try to do a system reset and do it again but personally, I dont think it will correct the problem.
The loading time is OK when there is no samples,
I have exb 256 mb that I took with me when I sold my pa2x but on my pa2x it worked very fine, never have a problem with it.
Vex, when you compress your samples, you imported your old set or you just created a new one on pa3x? My set com from pa2x (loaded without global for shure).

Yes,I imported my set from pa2x...exactly like you,but I do not have exb256... You should try maybe to re-insert exb256?

My exb 256 is already insered in pa2x, since I bought it.
I am reimporting one by one the sounds and styles and samples and compressing works. But I think I will have to do this until tomorrow lol, i have soooooo many things...
