Have seen upgrade for free this and free, that, for the M3, all good but,
from what I heard lately from my friends is that the EXB Radias for the M3 does not have mono legato portamento? which is a MUST for the Eastern musicians, will we see an upgrade or is the M3 ready to go to the allmighty synth grave yard? KRONOS haveing to do something about that,
cause I am really looking to pick up a bargain? don't have the money for a KRONOS, please let us know? I saw a post about this topic from rfoshaug, can anyone verify that you can have this feature?

I think your friends are mistaken. You can set a EXB-Radias program to mono, single-trigger mode (on the Program Basic page) which is the same thing as mono-legato, then on the OSC Pitch page you can set the portamento time and curve. The only limitation that I see is that portamento doesn't support rate-based portamento, only time-based.

That is exactly what I have to have, rate time based mono legato portamento for the Radias EXB.

Radias and EXB Radias does have mono legato. This is a pretty basic function.
Portamento is only limited to Time based (NOT Rate based).
You say 'rate time based mono legato portamento', which makes no sense - portamento can only be rate (pitch/note) OR time based, not both at the same time. Make your mind up...

If it has to be rate-based then you're out of luck. But it does everything else -- mono-legato with portamento. Frankly, I usually prefer rate-based too, but time-based is not that big of a compromise for me.

Just like the Triton series, I guess there is no fingered portamento, that is what is missing, as for the time or rate? I guess as with the Triton it would be time.

No, that's not correct. M3
does support fingered portamento, assuming you mean portamento that only happens when you play legato. I described how to make it do this in my first response. The only limitation is that the glide time between notes is a fixed time regardless of the distance between the notes, rather than a rate. The Triton supports this as well. Please look at the manual in your native language; I think that would make this all clear for you.
