Online gamers solve AIDS enzyme puzzle

There’s a new game that has something to do with that strange subject called Space some bizarre looking guy connected to time by sticking out his tongue…… http://fold.it/

“Foldit” is a game Developed in 2008 by the University of Washington and points out the value of looking to laymen like yourself for finding answers to important questions in Science. It’s a video game developed for both fun and function in which gamers are divided into competing groups and compete to unfold chains of amino acids using a set of online tools. Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins. The target was a monomeric protease enzyme which is an agent in the complex molecular tailoring of retroviruses, a family that includes HIV so this is incredible news. I doubt the gamers understood the names and terms used but they resolved the puzzle and had fun doing it and that’s important for making something like this spread and continue to grow.

The most amazing thing is the fact that deciphering the AIDS-like virus had confounded DNA scientists for over a decade and the online gamers were able to decipher the structure in only 3 weeks according to the respected journal. I’d like to point out that DNA structure is explored using Ohm’s Law and for sound there is an acoustic equivalence to it with a similar summery wheel of basic equations that are really just weight balance scales set up to weigh the same parts in a different ratio of comparison. Energy always remains a constant.

Sound and DNA laws go together and in DNA theory you have the Gene Ensemble and its Instance Summery and in music the Circle of Fifths. They are both expressing the same map and rules of Mass oscillation so before you say you don’t know anything about what makes your DNA tick think about what you know about basic music principals. Then realize most gamers have little knowledge of harmonics or sound synthesis compared to the vast knowledge base of information used to create electronic music using computer based instruments found within the online community of music sites such as Korg Forum. Just the basic knowledge of the octave structure of sound needed to play with other musicians in tune gives insight to the DNA’s structure. I believe the weight of common sense is being left out of Science due to the fact that to acquire an academic degree in any field of science now requires a parrot like skill of deep memorization and hypnosis of complex information that is out of context with its true structure. This makes something with a simple foundation of logic based on a true inertial frame of reference to count from unnecessarily complex. Add in the use of computers that are useless at many forms of recognition logic that deal with symmetry and the problem becomes clear.

What is important is phase: on to off/off to on... and its sequential base in time. The fact that the gamers solved the molecular puzzle so fast after the researchers spent a decade perplexed exposes this issue and does so rather blatantly but in a positive setting.

The timing of this announcement could not be better for setting the stage for my next post on this forum apologizing for not yet disclosing the “code language” of the New Circle of Fifths and its relationship of structure to the DNA’s Gene Ensemble and Instance Location Summery wheel I announced over a year ago. The reason for the delay is important to understand and is explained in the coming post.

I say “wheel” because when you have a circle and add a center relative to its rotation and assign it the movement of the Circle of Fifths spiral you create an apparent c/g gravity based Observer location at middle C controlling the forward/rearward balance found in the simple mechanics of a unicycle. Turn it sideways and before you know it you have a helicopter that’s basic laws of precession mirror that of the DNA which repeat endlessly throughout man’s inventions and are clearly shown in the structure of the Basic Laws of Music that are sense-time dependent. To study music one does not want to limit their scope of inquiry or cross referencing of information. It’s all part of the same machine regardless of what you call it.

I stand in deep respect and awe of many of the supporters of this web site over the years whose knowledge base and depth of technical issues from basic playing and using equipment to dealing with electronics and computer programing is state of the art and quite astonishing. I’m excited about this resent announcement in science because for the first time in History laypersons masquerading as gamers are being honored with top DNA/Life researchers as co-authors of a great scientific discovery starting a trend advancing scientific knowledge and research. So whatever you do don’t dismiss your own possible contributions in time. I am certain you will find your own input is the most important programing there is relative to the outcome of events that affect you.

"We wanted to see if human intuition could succeed where automated methods had failed," Firas Khatib of the University's Biochemistry Lab said in a press release.

Human intuition tells us time’s arrow is steadfast and sequential and is unlike our past concept of space that is relative and void of a fixed location by any volume (or frequency) to create a relative point of reference. So either our old concept of space was correct, or our new concept of time introduced by putting the old concept of space together with time is wrong and time has had its symmetry reversed by making energy and mass equivalent and the change of concept needs to be applied to space, not time.

We should know the truth soon because man’s most powerful talent is being put to the test. Folding elemental structures of Space is now a competitive sport based on our DNA’s basic process of building Life’s structures.

I can't believe that I actually understood all of that but I did. This just goes to show you that anything is possible, you just only need to look in the right place to find your answer.
Turning research into a game! That's shear genius!
Now if someone was to apply this to cancer, which as far as I know is mis-programmed DNA, we might have something.
I guess we need to learn how to re-progarm DNA.

Glad it was understood. When you add CERN's unexpected announcement 4 days later stating the neutrinos were traveling 2.48e-5 of a second past the speed of light and SLAC's E158 data showing why coming up with the same figure of 2.48e-5 and a 0.20e-5 comma as required similar to any comma in music theory to go with it that will be a week to remember. It all ties in to rearranging the pieces of science to expose the pendulum of the Mass oscillation cycle creating the 4 forces of Nature in proper order and phase in time which is very simple compared to what has already been done.

This is up (off, neutron), this is down (on, proton), let's go up (phosphate/electron phase of force) and down (sugar/graviton phase of force). Once the four phases of time creating the four forces in Nature are in place and in phase in the minds of the CERN researchers and an inertial frame of reference is established to measure from the difference will be like adding gas to a car that has been being pushed like a wheelbarrow.

i definitely didn't understand half of what was written, but I get the idea.

It's interesting because often times people from different fields have a different perception and come in with a fresh look and a fresh perspective which allows them to make discoveries like that. Great news!
