Electric Avenue "Revving Engine" sound

Has anyone tried to re-create the revving sound thats at the beginning of electric avenue on the R3? I know there is a revving racecar type effect patch for one of the patches one the R-3. Would this be hard to modify to re-create it to match the Eddy Grant song? Any tips on how to do this would be appreciated, thanks.
