Kronos LE Module for the Korg M3 - KKS

It would be nice if Korg would make some sort of Kronos LE module that fits the Korg Komponent System. It would be really nice to have the SGX1 and EP1 in some kind of spinoff module.

We all know that there will be some kind of Kronos LE product like the M50 is a spinoff for the M3.

What do you think should be in that module?

I hardly think there's gonna be some kind of Kronos LE since it's already sort of an Oasys spin off.

Usually the only difference between a full operative workstation and it's light version is the sampler and sequencer.

But I agree that it would definitely be worth it for the SST and Setlist.

There will be one....

Of course there will be a spin off product of the Kronos. At least one maybe more.
I don't think Korg has another product to build a LE Version of. It's way to early for the Kronos Studio upgrade or the Kronos Extreme.

My guess is that every new keyboard product from Korg will build on technologies from the Kronos. There will be a Synth with all or some of the synth engines and there will be a digital piano with SGX technologi.

Would be nice if something would fit the Korg Komponent System as well.
Otherwise that is a real disappointment in synth history. Only two products :-(

Consider that the M3 is already supposedly a watered down OASYS tech spinoff. It was supposed to bring the same 'high definition' sound qualities and technologies to a more affordable audience.

So the M50 is an OASYS LE LE

Kronos is an OASYS +/-

any Kronos spinoff therefore would be an OASYS +/- LE

I'm pretty sure KKS is dead. It's too bad though, I and many others liked the concept. I guess it didn't turn out economically feasible in the end.

I also think the KKS is dead and it's to bad Korg doesn't give it one more shot. I think there would be a market for some kind of desktop version of the Kronos just like the Virus TI desktop and why not do it compatible with the KKS.

It would be nice to have some different midicontrollers in 49, 61, 7x or 88 key versions that you use depending on type of gig.
All your programs and combis in one piece of hardware that you combine with the midikeyboard you like.
After rehersal just bring the Kronos desktop home and edit some sound and bring it back to the next rehersal. No need to carry all the 50 lbs all the time.

I want those synth engines alone in a module.

I'm also pretty sure Korg will not make a hardware addition for the Komponent System (M3 only). It's already '2 generations' old and even for the Oasys there are not made hardware expansions for.
