popcorn bass sound

i'm trying to get the bass that starts at about 0:06

but whenever i try to create the sound it seems to only get close using VPM, which makes it too distorted and not smooth...

you mean the sequenced synth bass or the real (elctric) one?

didnt notice a real eletric one, so i'm thinking of the sequenced synth bass
