I'm trying to make the vuvuzela sound that interrupts the patches in this video.
but i find it extremely difficult to replicate, although on my microkorg i got close, it just ended up sounding like a horrendous noise(worse than a real vuvuzela) I tried using a brass patch with both lfos being used to manipulate pitch and cutoff and etc. but it didnt really give me the right result.

What would you suggest to replicate such a sound?

Really.......

:3drofl:

You watch a video with the Ten Classic JD-800 PAD Patches and you want to replicate the sound of the vuvuzela.

What are you going to do with the patch once you create it ?
Play it in a song ? or go to a football match and play it at half time.

Good luck creating that patch.

PS I think someone created it when the World Cup was on.

i'm going to use it in a track and at the next world cup :P
and i found supposed information that someone made it on the Access Virus Ti, but i am yet to find any proof.
What sound wave do you think is closest to that of a vuvuzela?

Is it so f*ck*ng hard to use ONE post and f*ck*ng post in there EVERYTIME YOU cannot get off your lazy ass and create the patch yourself?? Seriously stop posting new threads everytime You hear a sound.

NOT impossible! More than one has made a patch for it in this forum!
If you go back on this thread about 1 1/2 year ago, there was a patch challenge competition here called RPC. The first task of this competition was to create a vuvuzela (with crowd) sound. You may look here if some of the sounds are still available (at least mine is still active):

do you happen to still have that patch? even if you dont, how did you do it? or what guidelines are needed for making that bizzare horn like sound?

Did you get any progress in creating this "impssible" patch.

yes. but even your vuvuzela doesnt sound quite right at least from the R3- i was able to optimize it for the r3 using some experimentation, but it sounds more like a huge ensemble of vuvuzelas than just one. I think i'm satisfied with it however.
