Locating a Lost Sound (preset)

Post by l8rdood »

On my Kronos, I took a patch, tweaked it and saved it. That was 3 days ago. I have absolutely no idea where it is....under which catergory or set. Is there a "search" feature that I can locate it right away? I do remember what I named it, just don't know where it is. Please help!

There is no built in search function per say but what you could do is to use export your programs/combis as a pcg file and use michelkeijzers's (from the forum) app called PCG-Tools to export a patchlist from it and then search in the list for the name of our patch. See example list below:

Code: Select all

Harpsichord 1 STR-1 : Program I-A059
8' Harpsichord + Key Off: Program I-B067
16'+8' Harpsichord +Pluk: Program I-B068
Analog Bell/Harp : Program I-B112
If you do not have access to the app(you have to request for it via mail) then I can help you later today if you provide me with your PCG file.

I can send the application if you PM your email address.

As JonLord tells, you can use my app. Make a patch list of any program/combis/set list and search for it. You can also use the Filter function and only make a list of patches containing a certain name.

It is best to give your email address, because you will automatically receive future updates.
