My German Grand has gone !

I started to do some writing on my Sequencer and saved 'all' in disc mode.

I have now loaded my new directory, using multiple select and selecting the KGE KSC PCG and SNG.

The song is there, but there are certain piano patches that won't sound. eg German Grand. The E. Pianos have but not the Acoustic Pianos. On Japanese Grand and Strings only the strings play.
If i reboot without loading my sequencer directory, everything is as it should be.

Any ideas?

Piano!!!

You can check the read text with something like 'sample(s) not loaded'. You should check the preload.ksc in the global page or load additional sample sets.

As noted in the linked thread, what I believe happened was that you saved a KSC file, and then loaded that KSC file along with the song and PCG file. In software 1.0.x, saving "All" results in a KSC with links to RAM samples only, and not EXs; this should be fixed soon. (The separate Save Sample Data command saves KSC files properly with links to both RAM and EXs.) If you then load this KSC file with the "Clear RAM and EXs" option, it will remove all of the EXs samples - including those for the SGX-1.

Note that you only need to save or load data that you're actually editing. If you're using only the factory sounds, for instance, all you need to save and load is the .SNG file. You only need to save or load KSC files if you're changing the samples loaded into the KRONOS.

Hope this helps,

Dan
