Question before buying

I am about to purchase this board, but I have one question. I want to use this to accompany singers by customizing some combis. How many variations do the individual combis have, and how easy are they to access and change during a performance?

Thanks!

Ron

The Korg is very customizable, but you´ll have to work hard to get want you want in some cases. If you want to access easily to functions, a pedal is very useful.
Have you consider an arrenger instead of a workstation?

there is no "variations" or "fills" in m50... i guess you need an arranger instead of a workstation

Yes according to your needs an arranger might me better for what you are looking for.

I really wish it did. Frankly, this would have been much, much more useful than those stupid chord trigger buttons. They could have at least enabled you to perform real time arp pattern changes whilst you are playing, via those buttons.

I really don't understand why Korg didn't make those buttons assignable to different functions. Theres nothing more lame than watching some youtube amateur holding down a chord trigger button whilst the arp is running, turning random knobs and calling it a 'remix'.

Rant over ;)
