it ,s long time that the PA3X series come out now, And there is lots of bugs and uncompatibilities
So the winter did not give any HUGE os improvments, Whats next now.
It,s christmas and I do not think KORG is coming out whit any OS update now for a while.
That means we are waiting more, And maybe to summer !
Any ideas?

I wish they had a clean-cut list of existing bugs, so we all knew what's exactly there's to fix, or what's already being reported as a "bug". Kronos has a great official support in their forum. I exactly knew what the bugs were, and what was going to make it into the latest OS, and what wasnt'.
With PA3x everything is so vague... . If there are known bugs, they could easily publish the list here, so users wouldn't have to struggle with them.

Hi Asena
I have no idea.
I guess Korg will update when they are ready - but with all the global financial problems who knows what is going on.
I am guessing that they are still trying to get up to date with purely supplying the PA3Xs as it still seems that they are hard to get everywhere.
I am going to review the PA3X again next October/November - hopefully I will have had a chance to actually play one by then, but for the next 12 months, I am staying put with my PA2X/M3M combination.
Paolo does check the "reports" of problems so maybe they are currently working hard on some fixes.
Take care
Pete

Moda , Did you heave KORG 2 X / 800 before go over to 3 X?
Do you use it to make Song List, Song Book,
Do you make Styles Via Computer
Do you use onboard Sequenser?
Etc etc.
I,m using it evry day, in Studio and live, so there is some OS problems, And Yes KORG Knows that, And I hope they fix it!
Let,s fix a final aproach and list the OS fault,s here from to day!
Be sure that is an OS Problem and tell us, how you couse this!
And again, we can fix this things hand in hand whit KORG!
Thanx all.

Hi Modamusic....finding bugs isn't about how often one uses the keyboard really. It's about how you're using it.

i work with this keyboard for over 5 months and I had no problem with the OS! Korg...excellent work!
Perhaps you are the problem and the music you want to play!
Pa3x will really upset those who play bad!..OS go crazy,Sampler not working,Lower go OFF...
Consult a music teacher...can help!

Heey guys, take it easy down here. A pro musician never says he/she is pro. You both are good musicians, that's why we are here all togheter.
When it comes to the amateur musicians on pa3x:
- Mostly they will not even notice os bugs. They may find bugs only in:
songbook, song play mode etc..
- Engine running slow
- Touch screen
- Vocal microphone section
When it comes to advanced users of the pa3x:
- They will notice freeze in sound record mode
- When a set loads
etc etc...
Regards,
Ronny

well, i buyed the NEXUS 2 And i whas thinking if a company can make VST Keyboard, it,s possible, And there is midi controllers whit learn function for the knobs, that would be awesome, I,m so tired of this KORG ROLAND YAMAHA thing that locks us whit Ram and more , So maybe there will be a huce change in the market
By the way, For nexus you can buy EXP.s like we buy styles for yamaha KB,s. And it sounds great, I Ordered Future Arp,s 2 And i love it.

Hahahaha...this is getting funny...as someone here said, having PA3X for
4 months or 5 years if you dont know how to use it it doesnt mean that
there is no bugs...there is a difference between a good musician and someone
that actually knows the synth inside and out (Daniel).
Daniel, i can BET you on my whole studio that if you give me your PA3X
i will find you at least 15 bugs and have Korg Engineers confirm that.
You also dont understimate people, if you use Nexus or whatever doesn't
mean that you can uncover Bugs on PA3X. There is a lot more to music then just music.

I did not say,Pa3x have no bugs!..but on my style and sound creation,i don't find any Bugs!
I am very busy creating music and i live Korg to fix OS problems, like songbook or mp3 player!.. Korg, they know better what should be fixed!
Sorry people if i upset you!...promise to never answer on this forum!
