Windows7 64Bit SP1, cannot install USB K61

Hi everyone,
I am not able to install my K61 keyboard. I have been trying for the past 3 weeks and it is driving me crazy. When I plug in my device, it tries to install then fail indicating that it did not find a driver. I have tried numerous thing without success including rebuilding my OS. I was able to install it on another PC with vista and it worked. My other Korg products installed fine (NanoKontrol and NanoPad) using the latest KORG USB-MIDI Driver DrvTools_e(1.13_r6). Here is a list of what I tried:

- different all usb port - no go
- different cable - no go
- added power supply to the K61 - no go
- older version install of KORG USB-MIDI Driver - no go
- verified did not hit the 10 midi limit in registry
- removed power management on USB hubs - no go
- tried "add legacy hardware" to load driver direct - no go
- tried using the USB-MIDI Driver applets to install - no go

OS: Windows 7 64bit SP1
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3
Midi Devices: RP500, NanoPad,NanoKontrol,Zoom R8, K61
Sound card (not used): Sound blaster X-Fi

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was able to fix my issue. It does not make sense but it worked.

I disconnected my power adapter from the keyboard and connected my K61 to a powered USB hub. It detected my device correctly and resolved my issue.

It does not make sense since I had a power adapter connected to the K61 to power it up but it now works so I will not question the logic behind it.
