Hey Ivo...you have to go into the maxx eq and audio in global. After you've tweeked the settings to your taste the vp will sound great, cleaner and crisper than the 2x I believe. Good luck, Liongold :verycool:

Common people!.you don't know what you talk!!
Voice Processor on Pa3x it's the best ever made on any arranger keyboard!
if you don't know how to set up,it's another story!

Hi.
I use my VP of PA3X and for me it has better sound than PA2X which I have too ...
The point is that , we have to uncheck adaptive EQ and set ourself the EQ of PA3x VP ... and it has to be every time when we play with different PA ....
For someone this can be difficult but this is the only way ....

I know that when you are plugged into the mic audio in the vp is accessed. I have no idea why anyone would hook a mic up using line 1 or 2 out. Are you sure the vp is even activated using that method? What's up with that? Liongold :?

Yeah! vp route output set to 1+2 and is working i do not know why are you asking that...i think that maxx audio if is set in that way to improve sound of arranger....it will not help to make good sound of microphone....

Ivo,

As mentioned above....you need to get compresor, gate and EQ settings manually to go around your issue....

Ivo is right. The voice processor on pa3x sounds very different from pa2x. It have a softer sound. but it lacks on attack. it's difficult to make the pa3x voice setup sound like pa3x. One thing i miss from pa2x it's the low cut on voice setup. we don't have it on pa3x. well maybe korg can do an update to improve some things on voice processor althoug it's going to be difficult because the algorythms on eq, compression gate etc... belong to tc helicon. Another thing i miss is the smooth hall reverb on voice processor.

About the out 1+2 on voice, i use the same configuration and this should not be inputed on waves maxx because waves is routed only on output l+r. So it will not affect the sound of mic.

Hi. I miss that too ... but I find that Hockey Arena which has this setting { Decay 3.2s , Pre Delay 60 ms , Hi Color +3 , Lo Color 0 , Duck Amt 0db and Lead Level 0db } is maybe better than PA2X VP sound :) ....
It is my hint for you .... :):):)
