Greetings All,

Here's the story:
I have been using a Motif live for about 9 years now.
When the Kronos came on the scene, I was VERY interested.
I attended a demo, heard it, ordered it. Never touched it.
I thought that the sounds were a perfect addition/complement to the Yamaha. I started to poke around in here on the forums knowing that I would soon own one. It seems like a good group of people!
Now for the twist.
I finally received the unit. It did indeed sound fantastic and played well!
I loved how it sounded but.......
I cannot read the touch panel. My 58 years old eyes absolutely cannot adjust to the display. This makes the unit too difficult to navigate in a live situation (at least for me). I had about 4 hours of trying my best to enjoy the sounds and find a way to use the display....no such luck.
I packed it back up. I never touched the documentation or even power cord. It is not registered yet either.
It has been an agonizing decision but I cannot use this fine instrument.
If anyone has a need for this Kronos or has questions, please contact me.

I'm sorry to hear that you have this problem. And yes, the screen is smaller. You could go for an Oasys but this has some pros and cons (for live usage probably weight is a big factor).

However in a live situation you probably use set list slots and reading those names are not smaller than with other synths.
