Will they replace or revamp the D3200?

I was just starting to get interested in the D3200 when it went out of production and off the shelves.

Since then, I've talked to a few people who are using them.

The complaint EVERYBODY has is: the screen is too blessed SMALL!

What appealed to me was 32 tracks from one dedicated unit, that would likely dovetail nicely with my 2X Pro. And the ability to program and fine tune mix-downs instead of old-school two-hands real-time.

Hope Korg is taking a look at what improvements to make in revamping it. I'd still like one - a better one - or something similar, as in: MORE than 16 TRACKS! Making the screen bigger would be a good start. I'd pay more. (I never understood why the unit was priced so low in the first place.)

fixes the screen problem, check out your local dump for new larger monitor...;>)

Its a great unit, no latency as you'd get with a computer and it's plug n' play...;>)

I got a D3200 for a good price right before they stopped selling them. The screen is small and I don't have great eyesight, but it's fine to work with. Once I got to know the machine it became second nature anyway.

The best part is that I don't boot up the computer anymore. I've been much more productive musically.

I think the weakest part of the D3200 is the drum machine. It's frustrating to use and buggy. I wish they had spent that dsp power on the fx, especially the reverb.

The preamps and converters are decent. That's most important to me.

Not perfect but a great machine.

Korg has a habit of dropping great products just before they've gotten it perfect- like the D series recorders and the Electribe ESX-1. So close.

Does anyone have a 2SeeMy unit that they are not using and would like to sell?
