I need to connect a kaossilator pro, a wave drum and a kaoss pad into an new iMac with pro logic 9.
What is the best kind of sound card to connect to and record my musical creations
any help its a whole new ball game for me....

What is your budget for this piece of equipment?
For my MBP I use the MOTU UltraLite MK3 Hybrid

I like it because it has great ADDA stats, 8 inputs, 8 outputs and MIDI, firewire or USB, and it doubles as a self contained stage mixer with effects

I dismissed it initially because I didn't think that it had enough inputs and outputs for your needs.
It also lacks MIDI which I thought that you might also find useful.
I suppose that you could buy a mixer and midi interface with the £200 saved and still have a little left.
