I've been trying to figure out exactly how to hear a change when you turn on Quantize/Loop Quantize. Can anybody run through this with me? No matter which setting I select, it always sounds the same. Anyone got this to work?

The Quantize function works like the input quantize on the Korg workstations wherein the notes that you record lock in to the nearest 32nd note, 16th note triplet, 16th note, 8th note triplet, 8th note, and quarter note. In short, it corrects notes played out of timing. If you choose off, no timing correction is made. This only works as you record your part. It will not quantize existing patterns or stuff you've already recorded.
Loop Quantize sets the beat on which the next loop you choose comes in when you're switching loops in the loop list. If you choose 1/16, or the first 16th note, the new loop you choose immediately starts. If you choose 64/16, your next loop comes in on the last 16th note of the fourth measure.

Ah, that explains why I was not hearing anything different.
Thanks a million, narf!
