"Fill 2" button died!

yeah, it did finally happen most likely due to normal wear and tear. Basically, I press the button and nothing happens. There's no response at all. The LED is gone too.
However, when I connected the EC5 pedal, everything including the LED seems to be working fine. (That is if i use the foot pedal to play the Fill )
Any clues as to what could be the problem?

Bad micro switch.
$2.50 to $5.00 part - up to 1/2 hour soldering job.
(disassemble, remove left control board, desolder bad switch, install new switch, re-assemble)

It could be some dust.
Push on it hardly, BUT in the lower part of the switch. Because they are fragile. Press hard on the top will break it.
I have exactly the same thing on my PA2X. Some times "Var2" switch works, during a few days or weeks, and some time it doesn't work.
And I often need to press hardly on it several times before it works.
And guess what...This began a few days after the replacement of all the internal electronic panel (some LEDs were died)...
Thanks to Korg for this expensive toy...

ok, this is really weird. I had a gig on Saturday night. Turned on the PA 800 and messed around with it for little bit saturday morning, no problem. Over the next few minutes I put the ipad on top of the keyboard speaker which now has all of my chord charts. It sits inside a semi-hard case that's got a little elbow on the back. You could pull it out and the iPad stands up in a perfect angle for reading the charts. So the only thing seperating the keyboard and the ipad is only the fabric of the case which is not that thick. As i was auditioning my user styles, i noticed the problem mentioned above. I turned it off and turned it back on again a few times , but that didn't solve the problem.
Right after I started this thread, the keyboard stopped responding to the chord changes as well. No matter what chord I played it would just play the same chord. That's when I decided I was going to take the PA3x with me as a back up plan. Few minutes later, after I had removed the ipad, I turned on the keyboard one more time, and everything was working just fine! I had both keyboards set up for the night, but didnt' need to use the PA3x at all. I did put the ipad on the keybaord again, but this time i used a real ipad stand that raises the ipad by about 3 inches.
I dont' know if there's any connection between the iPad and the keyboard acting up weird???
interference of 2 computer-CPU's "near by"

Hi,
if i read this, i come to the point of "ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERFERENCE"
of 2 "computer" cpu's ... located in short distance to one another...
There were situations, when a not correct installed cpu's on PC's did disturb the police-radio within a distance of 2 miles... (!!) ...
Did you ever hear the sound of a small battery-powered RADIO playing, when a HANDY nearby is about to Ring ... the typical sound pattern of
that event...
MAY BE . . . that the CPU - "Heart-Beat" of the PA800 is influenced /
disturbed by an IPAD mounted near the body of the PA800 ?!?!?
Maybe, even the IPAD is influenced by the PA800 ?
(Does it really work well ?) !
best Wishes from
