Since we can't get Karo sounds off their website, is there anyone on this forum that can sell me some of these libraries? Please.

Hi.
I picked up an link from another thread linking to the Oasys discontinued soundsets. At least, they seems to be available yet.

Interesting that those pages are still up there!
But if you click through any of them you'll see it states it is discontinued and there's no link to buy them...
Still amuses/annoys me how KARO has just replaced the word 'OASYS' with the 'Kronos' for the product descriptions!

Damn!
I didnt see that. What a disappointment.
If my mind don't play trix on me, I could swear that I've read some place that Karo would sell you the discontinued products if you asked them to??!!

From the thread: No more Karo sounds for the Oasys
Hi Anthony, hi OASYANS,
Sorry for my late responce...
we are updating all our OASYS libraries for the KRONOS!
The KRONOS libs have much more samples, programs & combis and also a lot of re-programming!
It's true... OASYS libs are discontinued, but you can email me what for KARO libraries you need
this is not a problem...
info@karo-sounds.com
Best wishes,
Kurt

Yes - I remember this too.
However, I would treat this with great caution.
It suggests that KARO is willing to sell something they know will get round Korg's requirement for authentication/protection for the Kronos market.
And if you check old threads here at KF you will see exactly how much KARO is prepared to deceive...

I've never had a KARO library, as wasnt ready for one. But KSL (Karo symphonic library?) is just the one i want really, as i love the Strings...

Hmm. I don't understand. Are Karo bought up by Korg??
I do own one of the Grand Piano set's. I don't see why it suddenly should be illegal to buy more?
It irritates me that they over night stops supporting Oasys.
I was curious about the KDO (Drawbar Organ) and did ask about this.
Got answer that suggests it would be released soon.
It got released, I started to save to buy, and when I was ready to buy, IT WAS GONE. Aaarg. Annoying.
This is one of the reasons I NEVER shall buy an Kronos. Ever.
OT. I see that you Cello has the JP80. Are you satisfied with this? I'm wondering about bying one.

Cello has a JP80 as do I. I am extremely satisfied with it. A wonderful instrument, a great addition to any kit.

Oops sorry, I missed your question!
As with JuneauUnderground, I am delighted with the JP-80. The articulations on both supernatural sounds (synth and acoustic) are wonderfully creative to use and in combination with my OASYS is a sheer joy.
The OASYS and JP-80 work together beautifully (for me and my music anyway!).
