Update firmware V2, USB driver, sound editor , new patches

can anyone help, wanted to install the new patches via V2 upgrade, DRV USB upgrade on Windows 7 etc.
have read the instructions, downloaded the required files , unzipped them , can see the new patches in the editor .
cannot get them into my Radias using the cable via USB link.
what is the correct steps inorder for this to work ?
