Pa588 Manual Bass one octave too low in split mode

New owner of Pa588 arranger. In split mode- manual bass plays one octave lower than accompaniment style-play bass. Raising the bass octave in the mixer also raises it an octave in style play. Any way to place the manual bass in the correct octave without affecting the style- play bass? Could not find solution in owner's manual or on-line. Thanks.
