Hay guys basically i got a Korg EMX-1 the other day and i have a small question!
Basically I have made the synth effect I want and i'm ready to program the keys in (in to the 16 pads) But when i punch in the keys where i want it to play i seam to get the same note. I'm trying to play like "C sharp" on pad 1 and then say like "E" on pad 2.
Also dose anyone know any good beginners video tutorials, i'm reading the manual it came with but it is a lot to take in and i think seeing a video would help a lot more!
Thanks!

Read Pages 47 to 49 of the manual. This should get you started.
There's far to much info for me to type.
This should help you create a PATTERN.
Have fun and you'll be fine

PS.
You don't need to read the whole manual all at once. Break it down and work through in sections. Concentrate on one thing at a time.

1) Make sure you're in PATTERN or PART mode.
2) Push the button of the synth part (1-5) you want to play.
3) Make sure the KEYBOARD button above the 16 "keys" is lit, if it is then you'll be able to play the buttons as notes. If it's not lit, the buttons you hit will just tell the EMX that you want it to play there but it won't have any note/gate time data...you have to go into the STEP EDIT menu if you want to access these variables, but starting out it's generally easier to hit the record button while KEYBOARD mode is active just to play it the way you want it to be.
