Hi,

after getting the Nanokontrol2, I plugged it into computer and it lit up.

I unplugged it and downloaded all the software and drivers from korg (korg-usb-midi driver 1.1.1 (r1), kontoleditor -0120, nanokontrol2 updater and cs plugin)

After installation nanokontroler is not recognised, no lights or anything.
Fixed permissions and restarted computer - no change.
Tried deleting drivers and reinstalling, but not sure I found all of them all.

so basically i have a dead controller :-(

I'm running OSX10.6.8 on a Macbook 2ghz

Any help is much appreciated!

Just wanted to post an update...
took the nanokontroller back to the shop and it was pronounced dead. They said it wasn't the first one they had to send back.
anyways, I got a replacement and it works (for now ;-)

Sorry to hear of your troubles. Please know that this is not the norm and you shouldn't anticipate running into these issues going forward. If you do, please contact your local Korg distributor directly, as linked in my signature.

Thanks,
