List of things wrong with my Pa3x

Hello Korg Forums. It's nice to be among you. I don't know if some of my problems are already posted by other users but that's what i want to find out. Ok...here we go.
-The most anoyng thing on my pa3x is that i have a backround "sssss..."noise all the time. If i try to use a DI-box the noise gets louder. I had some friends over both with pa3x (a 61 and a 72 version like mine) and their keyboards were absolutely silent. The dealer in my country replaced my output board and it was the same. Second time i called they kind of belw me off. The only solution i found to get rid of the noise is by covering the ground pins on my power cord with electrical tape. I know it's not safe but what else can i do?...
-Another problem that i have is with the tempo. Every time i try to sinq the keyboard with logic pro or cubase by simply inserting the same tempo values after a while the pa3 slows down. The same thing happens in comparison with a Pa80, a Pa1x pro and a Roland Juno G so i don't think the music production softwares are the problem.
-Lower freezes sometimes in style play like i am holding a sustain pedal and it overlays all the chords i've been playing at that moment. Only reboot solves that problem. his is confirmed by my other friends that i talked about earlier. So i'm not the only one.
-I get freezes in style record where i lose every thing i created because i have to reboot. And most of the times it freezes when i try to import a SMF. And i have to reboot again.
-And i sometimes find STS presets from my user styles on the factory styles. And believe me the genres are way apart. For a while i believed i was doing something wrong but i discovered that the modifying of factory styles was write protected in the media menu.
That's about it....Thank you and be gentle, it's my first post(i think)...any advice is appreciated. And please excuse if i made some writing mistakes i'm from Romania.

Re: tempo variance.
Have you sync'ed not only start/stop, but midi clock as well?
I'm not using the same equipment, but there should be an option on your keyboard, probably under the global menu, to use an external (i.e., computer) clock as a reference for both devices.

thx for the reply. i just want to play some chords with a style and make a simple orchestration in logic. why should it be complicated?...i mean...130bpm-pa3x, 130bpm-logic pro. REC...4 beats count-in and bam...i'm off...i record 5 or 6 measures and then it goes more and more apart from logic's metronome. i didn't have this problem with the pa1 x pro. the only way i could sincronise them is by inserting 130bpm in the keyboard and 129.9.."something" in logic...or i can record part with part and strech them on tempo. and that is alot of time wasted.

Some pigs are "more equal" than others - Orwell.
You're running two different pieces of gear made by two different makers each using different algorithms in their software to determine just what is and isn't a "Beat" in BPM.
Both are trying to be in charge and drifting according to each ones tendency to play faster or slower depending on what the internal processors think is more important -- time or sound.
"master clock" just says one or the other is in charge, "Follow along even if you don't usually do it that way... here's the "one"... now!"
Simple, would be to let Logic be in charge, set TEX's master clock to external.
Set up once. Doesn't impact live play unless something else is driving it as well and you don't want it to, or it is trying to drive external modules and a loop is set up in which case it will try to use the module's clock.

yes i understand what you are saiyng but i wonder why i didn,t have this problem with my old pa1x pro, or with the pa80 of a friend, or with the Roland Juno G that i have. they sincronise perfectly with my production softwares. and the pa3 doesn't. but this is the least of my problems. my bigest one is with the background noise.

You say that the trick of lifting the ground (taping the ground stem of the three prong plug) eliminates the sound?
Your friends 'quiet' boards used the exact same outlets, lines, amps, channels, etc. as the noisy board?
I'd investigate the power supply and the ground wiring rather than suspecting the output board. I'd also replace as much of the wiring in my rig as possible. Get a new power chord, new cables, if a transformer or power distribution is in your rack replace or at least thoroughly check it.
Eliminate all other possible noise sources. Document your process. If the problem persists then go back to the dealer and say "this is not not good enough; your techs didn't fix the problem, your customer service didn't serve, and good money bought sub-standard gear. Make it right." Complain, ask to go higher, get names; demand satisfaction. You'll be surprised what you can get if you refuse to roll over.

Yes the ground isolation soves the problem. I keep the keyboard almost every time with a voltage regualtor or a UPS. The keyboard makes the "ssssss..." noise wherever i go. In the studio, at rehearsal, on stage and at small parties. It made the noise since i bought it but i didn't pay to much atention till a few months ago. For my gigs i have a Dynacord Powermate 1000 v2 and i don't think the mixer is the problem. When i had the pa1x pro it didn't make any noise.

and yes my 2 friends tested their instruments on the same cables, in the same outlet and directly in the audio interface that i use. no noise. nothing. ohh..and it doesn't make any noise when i record mp3 directly on it. that is the only place i don't have that noise. The rest L and R, out 1 and 2, even headphones have the damn thing.
No noise with MP3

How are you listening to the MP3 file that you have recorded. If you are playing it back thru the same system your keyboard is using, than how can you tell the MP3 has no noise if the keyboard puts out noise all the time. Or does the noise only occur when you play notes, or have a style playing. Usually isolating the ground leg is only done for getting rid of ground loop hums, not a hissing sound.
One other thing you might check is the volume control of your microphone input. I don't have the PA3X yet but the PA1X has a volume adjustment right by the Mic input jack. If the PA3X has the same make sure it's not turned all the way up.
You mentioned they already replace the output board, could they not here the hiss at there shop.
One last test, unplug everything except the power cord, turn it on, then plug in headphones, try it with the ground isolated and the ground connected. If your getting the hiss this way then there has to be problem with your keyboard. The output board may not be the problem, it's only amplifying what is input to it from the different circuits that generate the sounds. Hope this helps, I'd being going nuts by now if I spent that much $ and it was not right. Good Luck Bob

of course i'm not listening on the keyboard. i am listening on my computer and there is no noise. and i did another thing. i started recording directly with the keyboard and didn't play anything, i transferred the mp3 in my computer and then whent in logic and tried to normalize the audio...and it said "nothing to normalize" or something like that but when i record the instrument on a track in logic without playing anything and i hit normalize it gives me a terrifying noise.

)...i talked on the phone today with the dealer and service provider in my country and he said i can go whenever i want and i won't leave the service untill they fix it. i've heard that before but now he says he has all the parts he needs and if nothing works he will give me a new one.
