Sounds like you need something a little more, uhh..."remedial." What do you need to know how to do? Do you want a brief rundown on how to make a basic beat or do you need to know what the features are?

Hey ProfessorNick,
Thanks for those tips. Here's one I haven't seen posted anywhere. I might post it at the other Electribe forum. Post it on your blog if you want, could be useful.

If you want to have more than two melodic parts per pattern:
Load a pitched sound to a drum or stretch pad.
Light some steps.
Activate motion sequence for the part, TRIG HOLD.
Record using the pitch knob to create a melody.

The pitch knob travels from -63 to +63.

Go to STEP EDIT, edit the notes.
These are the correct pitches:

Assuming the sample is the note C

Going down:
C 00
B -07
Bb -10
A -13
Ab -16
G -19
Gb -22
F -25
E -28
Eb -31

A -46
Ab -48
G -50
Gb -52
F -54
