Organimation review

Hi everyone, I will like to tell you my impressions after almost 2 months of testing and playing at live the organimation sounds for the M3...

I am a B3 Lover, I play it trough different scenarios....
Organimation is very well sampled....sounds perfect. Real, warm, like a real B3! =D>

Combi mode is the real thing...however, some sounds in program banks, are very good too..they can be used as they are or, to add them, mixed in combis preloaded by korg......On combi mode, you can access to each drawbar, and the Chorus/Vibrato...

The Vibrato/Chorus is well done (based on Korg internal effects). However, I really don't like the leslie simulation...Why some people keep on programming the leslie effect synchronized, if in real life It's not like that? [-X ....After tweaking it sounds good, just good. I am thinking of getting a neo ventilator....that will be :verycool:

Leslie effect, are the %50 of the sound in a B3....

Also the overdrive, is really not good....but I was able to improve it....If you wan to play Progressive/Hard Rock, like Jon Lord, you will need to tweak the effects Overdrive...

So....my conclusion: Organimation, is good? Yes, don't even doubt it. Do
Do I need it? well if you play hammond sounds at live, yes! If not you can use a VST.

Having an M3 EXPANDED, with the brasswind EXB, with RADIAS and ORGANIMATION, is like to have a Kronos LE.....

Yea I am really loving the EXB radias. I am not a big organ fan but, I do at times use it. Thanks for your time on the review

Does it have single strike percussion like a real hammond? I can actually get some really impressive organs on the M3, but I just can't seem to emulate the singel strike percussion of a real hammond. Anybody know how? :?:

What do you mean by strike?
Maybe you mean that the percussion sounds only in the monophonic way? or you mean that percussion sounds only when the last drawbar is in 0?
In both cases the answer is yes...

Sorry for my english, is not my native language.

Okay. On a real Hammond when you have percussion activated and you strike the keys the percussion will sound. Okay. Now, when you strike the keys and the percussion sounds and hold down a note or notes, the percussion will not strike until you lift you hand completely off the keyboard. Hope I'm making myself clear. :?

Okay, I 've understood your question Drama1.
The answer is yes, it happens that the percussion will not strike until you left your hand completely off the keyboard...Like in a real b3...

Hi,
I put a lot of work in creating a kind of universal B3 combi based on internal sounds and effects. To me it sounds good enough for playing with my band but nevertheless the Deep Purple CD's sound better :D

So I am very curious what you did to improve even the Organimation settings/effects. Can you post a sample Combi with your improved settings? I am sure I can learn from that to either improve my own combi or to decide to buy or not to buy the Organimation kit.

Thx.

Mhhh I think that in order to do what you want, is necessary to sample the realese of each note...as I know, the Organimation doesn't include the release, because a B3 don't have release....

However, I think that it can be emulated, using internal sounds, or modifying some sample of the Organimation...

Do you understand me? sorry for my english, is not my native language, and It's becoming older as me.... :(

I am a biiiiiiig Jon Lord fan...do you want a hammond organ like Jon use in Made in Japan o Machine Head? give me your email, I will blow up your mind....

Is not a B3 CLONE, is just one combi, with good parameters of overdrive and leslie...sounds like the beast!
