RH3 keys breaking and magically fixing themselves

This was a new one for me. Last night on my gig, I broke a key on my SV-1. I hit the D above middle C, and it didn't come back up. Ah well, I thought, another repair job tomorrow. Then at the end of the next song, suddenly it was back in place and working perfectly. Huh?!?
I'm no stranger to breaking keys on this board. When it happens, it means one or both of the two bits of plastic that hold the key in place have broken off. Only apparently that's not what happened this time, otherwise the key would still be dead. I'm guessing something popped out of place and then popped back in, but the way the keyed is made, I'm having a hard time imagining how that could happen.
Has anyone else experienced this, or have any idea what could cause it?

Probably something might popped back and forth, however in worst case there might be something loose and it might happen again, even with another keys.
Besides, a problem that disappears from itself, mostly returns by itself ... and not always at the most convenient time.

I broke on of my sv1 keys last night (A below middle C). If I press hard it will click down and loose all weight. If I press down again and pull out it will return to normal weight. Is this similar to anything you have experienced. If so do you have any recommendations On how to fix it? I appreciate your attention.

I just opened my box for the Korg SV1, set it up only to find that 7 keys below middle C seem to be stuck or frozen. Sweetwater has offered to replace it, but I dread repacking it. Has anyone not had success with the "up side down , shaking methods" I've been reading on this blog?

Sorry for your frustrations Riceology... Make sure that when you turn it upside down, bang it on the floor from about 6inches several times...do the same toward the back...
When I got my SV-1 from Sweetwater this is exactly the same problem that I had with mine but with 5 keys... Bang the fire out of it!!! They will loosen eventually... Don't be gentle with it...Good luck
My SV-1 is now a wonderful playing keyboard...
