Es-1 to ESX?

Hi all,
I've just received an ESX-1 (Smartmedia) and I also have the OpenElectribeEditor.

I'd planned to recreate all my ES patterns in the ESX manually -- but perhaps there is a way to do this using the Editor?

I don't need the samples themselves, since the ESX supports higher resolution WAVs, I can load those separately.

But it'd be nice if I don't have to reprogram all the sequencer data for the various parts.

Would be nice, but you're gonna have to hunker down and do it manually. Better grab a drink.

Well, if you put it that way, why not!

Apparently the ESX can load ES1 files. Says so in the manual.

Ah, I hadn't caught that. I'll give it a try. Then all I'll have to do is update the samples.

Now I have to figure out how to get the ESX to accept program changes from my EA-1 MKII.
