When the manual don't say you can use this item, does that mean that you can't?

I'm talking about this item: http://www.visionstagelighting.co.uk/im ... 00x500.jpg

I know I can use a expression pedal but if I want to add a few more funktions one of these whould be great. So can I or can I not use it...?

Regards
Jacob

Not sure if you can use that particular one as it appears to be dedicated to controlling the Light Jockey 16.

I'm pretty sure this one would work though ... it's user programmable - you would plug it into the MIDI IN on the keyboard.

How 'bout the Korg EC5? I'm assuming that works for the mA.

Pretty sure the EC5 requires a special EC5 6 pin connector that is not found on the mA.

I currently have both a Korg Pa1x Pro and Micro Arranger. The Korg Pa1x uses the EC-5 which I just ordered and has the 6 pin connector on the back. The Micro Arranger does not and likely will require a regular Midi pedal board. The problem with both arrangers is that you cannot trigger some functions like the pads for example. Thus the reason I finally broke down and bought an EC-5 for the Pa1x. The Micro Arranger is another story and I'm not sure if anything can trigger pads or other functions outside what's printed in the manual for midi. With regards to arrangers, it's been my experience thus far that Korg is very poor with providing Midi implementation charts in their manuals.
