I had a few offers but around here, not much of a market for one. I don't want to ship and I hate to make such a loss. I'm glad to say I didn't pay full retail for it thanks to a 20% off coupon with Musicians Friend but still, I was getting haggled down from my last price of $1250! The highest offer I got was $850!!!

I think it's
1: low demand in this market here in central arkansas
2: korgs lack of support for software/sounds/editor
3: the amount of bad press it's gotten for the RH3 keyboard failures

At this point my keys are all fine (knock on faux ivory covered wood) and I hope they stay that way. But my main gripe is how much I'd love to have an editor update that would allow us to make splits, use raw samples to build instruments, and other tweaks that seem like they would all be very possible.

PLEASE KORG! Please hear us, we love the SV-1 for what it is and what it is ALMOST! Help make it become the MORE that it can be!

Glad you are keeping your Sv-1...unless you no longer enjoy it...as there is not another keyboard out there quite like it.
Yes...it is dis-heartening that Korg has dropped the ball on this issue, but I bought the keyboard for what it is...
As an aside...I went to collage at U.C.A. and will be glad to get back to Arkansas...I miss my home.

Thanks, I hope to play more regularly along with my current guitar playing, uke playing, and now accordion lessons (yes, I know... but I love playing it!)

A lot has changed around here in the past 10 years, for the good, let's hope it continues! Where are you now?

I second this.

And Midi CC controls. Like seriously Korg... You guys are/were *almost* there with an amazing product! Instead you let the minor details slip and released something that is not living up to it's potential.

Flying Ace... For the last two years I have been living North of Dallas, taking care of an elderly gentleman who has had a stroke...
This leaves me much more time for both my guitars and now my SV-1!!!
I still have property in Arkansas...and plan to return when my patient graduates from the Earthly plane.
In the late 70s I played a Rhodes 88, but the sounds on the SV-1 are IMHO much better!!!

A new (standard) 73 key sells for less than what you are asking for your used one.
