Finally finished an instrumental cover of this great song!
Korg Kronos was used for the bass and marimba parts, as well as one of the pianos.

You always put a smile on my face Chuck. Very entertaining, fun and you have some great gear. Especially the head gear

Thanks guys! Some of the parts were fun to play. Others were, for lack of a better 4-letter word, "work"

Thanks Les... "head gear" is always at the head of the list

What can I say? I really enjoyed this
Apart from the time you spent putting this together (music and video), have got to say that you - yes, I mean YOU - add something to the music.
Watching/hearing I can sense your enjoyment/fun/delight/pleasure/pride - it adds something unique that a keyboard with all its power can never add; the guy(gal) playing it!
Keep on truckin'... it's good!

Enjoyed that very much.
Was wondering how you play to a specific BPM with these kind of recording? Do you use a metronome?

Thanks, Cello! I really appreciate hearing that... and yes, I do get great enjoyment/fun/delight/pleasure/pride doing this, but I try to keep a serious face whilst playing... guess it comes through. Thanks so much!

What's a metronome?
Seriously though, I haven't used a metronome since I was a child learning how to play piano. Don't need one. Aside from doing covers like this, much of my own stuff is quite organic, meaning I like to speed up and/or slow down according to what I'm "feeling"... can't do that with a metronome or click track.
Thanks again to everyone else for your comments!

I think the word that describes Chuck when he is appearing on his videos is 'contented'.....i.e happy and at ease, expressing happiness and satisfaction.
Bet we all look like that when we are spending time with the Kronos.
