SST problem (possible bug)??

Post by 1jordyzzz »

so try to put LA E.piano (I-B017) on the setlist... then create a combi using LA E Piano on timbre 1, and legato stereo strings on timbre two.. second timbre set on midi channel 01G... save that combi, and put it on another slot on setlist... select LA e piano program from the setlist, then play a chord while pressing sustain pedal.. then switch to LA electric piano + string combi... is the previously sustained chord still sounding??

please try it because mine didn't sounding.. as soon as i press the combi, the previous sound (LA e piano program) stops immediately.... some attempt has sustained sound, but most of the time the previous sound is muted... and when i press a note on the combi (still pressing the sustain pedal), that note will not get sustained, unless i release my damper and press it again... this is not my pedal's fault because the german grand to german grand + string transition is flawless...

could somebody check it?? i use this program + combi (LA e piano + string) a lot you know...
my system is 1.52

thanks before..

I remember reading in the manual that, if the combined CPU usage for FX from both programs/combi's exceeds the available capacity, the old FX will immediately be removed and the sounds muted. This is a bit less graceful than what happens with exceeding voices CPU, which will only mute old voices.

You might want to look into the FX you're using in both parts of the transition, and if possible remove some.

Tried it - I can report that i am experiencing a cut off as well. the LA e piano will cut off no matter what slot i hit though.

I changed the KARMA GE on the program to the default (arp up/down) and SST is now working smoothly

See the Operation Guide section on SST for notes regarding limitations, including those related to KARMA. Note that KARMA settings can in some cases have an effect even if KARMA is not running.
